ABOUT
Sponsored by the Office of Equity and Inclusion, Episcopal High School's 2nd Annual 2018 MLK Jr. Day Symposium is a campus-wide initiative to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate his legacy and ideals. This year, Episcopal recognizes the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, while honoring his relevance and legacy today. We also mark our 50th year since integration began at Episcopal High School in 1968.
This year, the day aims to bring together a variety of voices and perspectives to foster greater awareness of the role Dr. King's teachings and leadership played in the lives of all people, and to facilitate conversations and workshops that promote equity and inclusion within our community and the larger global community of which we are a small part.
